Litanies pâles

Blinding lactation. This series of “Litanies Pâles” was for me the search for the appearance, the appearance of colours seeping  through white veils (silk papers). Density in the face of evanescence. The focal point and the focus of the photographer. The veil as a diminution of the presence. The idea of a palimpsest, deliberately reconstructed. A lactation that blinds. This technique of marouflage offered me the wet pleasure of these “skins to deploy”, to stretch and caress, to wrap some colou1 Blinding lactation.

A lactation that blinds.

This technique of marouflage offered me the wet pleasure of these “skins to deploy”, to stretch and caress, to wrap some coloured subjects. The desired effect was almost organic, the pleats and veins recalling the fascia of organs. A kind of puzzle, recomposing pieces collected in my travels, an imprecise image of my desire.
